“True Blood” actress Kristin Bauer recently showed a glimpse into her anti-poaching documentary, “Out for Africa,” while appearing on Marie Osmond’s talk show.
Bauer’s project is providing insight into the deaths of elephants and rhinos, because of the horrific poaching happening in Africa. The documentary is a way to raise awareness and hopefully to get others to lend a helping hand.
While talking with Osmond, Bauer revealed she found inspiration for the project after meeting a Kenyan man who told her his elephants were dying. Bauer said she felt “powerless” and didn’t know what to do. That’s how the documentary came to be.
